Clones 113 & Mariafeld. The noble, red grape of Burgundy has been described as capricious, temperamental and heart breaking but tasting a well made one can be transcendent and that is why winemaker’s take on the challenge. We finally felt we were ready to take on this variety and so far we’re happy with how the 2006 is doing. Stay tuned.
